Josefina Hernández (b. Bogotá, Colombia) is a New York based artist and designer.

Her art practice centers around paper cut works that are meticulously hand-cut. Largely inspired by nature’s sinuous and organic forms, Josefina’s work explores memory, place and belonging. In her work, she seeks to convey both the spiritual and material realities of human existence juxtaposing architectural elements with the natural world.

Josefina is the creative director of Buunni Coffee. As a designed she has worked with a range of clients including: Working Theater, The People’s Theater, Skeptical Digital, Campaign for New York Health, NoMAA and more.

Josefina holds a BA in Visual Studies from the University of Toronto.
